Sole an platform made of cork

These are two shoes from one of my newest projects. Sole an platform are build with natural cork which has the advantage, that it doesn’t compress, it’s lightweigth and does not contain any kind of plasticizer. Moreover natural cork is very durable.

Creating a specimen

This one is to show You, how a plastic specimen is created using vacuum techniques by pressing the plastic onto the last. When worn this transparent specimen enables me to determine eventual pressure spots. Those spots will be marked and transferred to the last in order to get a pefect match.
